This week might feel like you’re stalling out toward your goals. It might seem that you’re frantically spinning your wheels, yet getting absolutely nowhere. Sometimes, that resistance shows up to remind you that breaks are vital to your overall wellbeing. You can’t go, go, go nonstop until you’re empty. It’s better to fill up your tank periodically so you never sputter to a complete halt. Think of it as a way to honor yourself, practice some self-care, and do something that you love. Taking a break is good for your Soul!

To me, this card means so much more than just a birthday (although if there’s a big birthday coming up for you, definitely pay attention to your feelings and energy surrounding it — there’s likely some growth coming). This card represents celebration, joy, and fun. So that means this week is going to be a good one overall! Celebrate yourself just for being you. Pat yourself on the back for anything you accomplish, no matter how small (You dusted this week? Hooray!) And perhaps most importantly, have FUN. Maybe you jam out to your favorite song on your commute to work, or laugh out loud to your favorite comedy show, or go out to dinner with your friends. However you define fun, add it to your week!

WHAT TO THINK ABOUT: Assertiveness

Where are you not standing up for yourself? In which situations are you not speaking your truth? But identifying these circumstances doesn’t mean you should confront someone and get into a nasty fight. Instead, this is about getting crystal clear on YOUR beliefs. What do you believe in? How do you define right or wrong? What do you value in life? Once you’re sure, you can know which actions to take (or not take) to stay aligned with your own personal life philosophy. If answering these questions leaves you feeling hazy and lacking clarity, that’s okay! Take a walk, preferably among trees, and think about the questions. Jot down your thoughts when you get back home, and trust whatever comes up. Something WILL come to the surface.


What should you do this week? Not much, actually. Do the minimum required, but otherwise, it’s time to relax and enjoy yourself. Yahoooo! Trust that the Universe (or God, or angels, or whatever you associate with) has your back. You can’t control everything in your life anyway, so why not release yourself from the pressure to control it all? The Universe is co-creating with you, so you don’t have to do it all yourself. Trust that everything is working out for your highest good....and go do something that you will truly delight in!
